Option Change "Priority" When Adding a new card
when the box appears after click add new card, should have a dropdown menu for the priority instead of going to the card list and having to click edit.

Did you try double-clicking the card on the board itself? double-click enables the edit view on the board itself and let’s you change priority/ size etc.
please try it out and let us know if you still face any issue.
