To add cards of different card type, for example, Impediments, the administrator needs to define the card type in the application. For help on defining a card type, see http://www.digite.com/swift/help/define-card-types/

If the card type is defined, as a Product owner, you need to add the card type in your project.
To activate a card type in your project:
1. Navigate to the Kanban Board of your project and click the Modify Process icon. In the Board Editor view, click the Card Types icon on the toolbar.
2. Click the check box for the required card type. Click Back.
Open your project again so as to add cards of new card type on the Kanban Board or the backlog. Note that the legend menu on the board displays legend for the new card type.
