Adjusting the width of columns
Add a capability to define the lane/column width.
Some lanes will not have the same flow but the number of columns are fixed for all lanes.
Some columns can contain a large number of cards which pushes other lanes out of view. It would be helpful if you could change the width of a particular column to position cards side by side.thanks,
Gabriel2 votesHello Gabriel,
Thanks for your feedback and voting on this idea. We have implemented this feature and you can now re-size the lanes by dragging the lane borders to the left or right. This feature is now live on the servers and hope it’ll be useful to you and your team.
Let us know if you have any feedback/ suggestion on this or any more ideas/ suggestions.
Thanks,

Create a Bigscreen account
It would be great to have a dedicated account for our big screen in the office. The login must persist and the board must just refresh showing the changes made by the team at their PCs in real time. It can have limited rights.
2 votesHi Marc,
Provide a reader role to any user in the project and login with the same on the big screen. It will never log out and board will auto refresh after every 10 minutes.

Notification alerts via emails
When any comment is added by any team member on a card, then there should be an option for the Manager to configure that all team members will receive an email notification upon any comment added/card status changes.

Hi Signorini.
We have addressed this issue now, in the Swift-Kanban GA release. Swift-Kanban session is now restored, even you close the browser by mistake. This should certainly save any further hassles of logging in every-time.
Please do try it out and keep providing us your valuable feedback/suggestions to improve Swift-Kanban further.

Flipping card should show category and sub-category for tracking time
Currently if click the flip icon. I see the time spent on every lane. However if my sublane is in-progress and it is like that in three other lanes I cannot distinguish them. I would like for it to show the Category name and subcatergory like Engineering-->in Progress

Should be able to order Backlog cards by priority - currently orders Alphabetically
If I order the backlog by priority, the cards appear in alphabetical priority order (Critical, High, Low, Medium). Firefox 6.0.2

Be able to copy lanes in Admin
When designing a board, it might be nice to be able to copy lanes within a board that have a repeated structure. Even better might be the capability to copy the same structure from one board to another.

Provide a scalable view of the board to see the whole thing
One of the most significant values of a physical kanban board is as an "information radiator" - the ability to grasp at a glance all tasks and their position on the board. The inability to scale the board in order to see the whole board on the screen is a near showstopper as I evaluate this product. The collapse function isn't adequate when there are a large number of cards on a board.
I recommend a scaling feature similar to what is available in MS Project Gantt charts, or any other Office app (this may be what was intended by…

User Groups
Having the ability to group users together. Metrics should be calculated as multiple owners, where everyone in the group becomes a card owner. Furthering this feature should include notifications for card blocks only being sent to all the groups that the individual that blocked the card is a part of.
2 votesHi Sachin,
We have now added the ability to group users as Teams and use it to filter the Kanban board. Thanks for your feedback on this. We hope that this change would help you to use Swift-Kanban better.

Allow filtering by project name just as it does by card type to see all cards for a project.
Allow filtering by project name just as the system allows filtering by card type so that one can see all cards for a project. We have several projects, each with several cards, and this will help their project managers, who are only interested in the cards for their respective projects. It helps remove clutter. This is different from searching for a card because search will only show you one card at a time and doesn't filter out the rest from the board.
2 votesThis feature is implement and there is filter option provide in the board listing.

URL Parameters for Deep Linking?
I have noticed there are some handy URL parameters that can be passed in to navigate to a specific card in SwiftKanban.
For example https://login.swiftkanban.com/pui/index.jsp#projectid=<PROJID>&itemid=<CARDID> will open the board and flash the selection indicator for the ItemID one passes in.
I’m wondering if there are any other URL parameters that could be used to start with a specific filter or card view?
For Example – pass in a parameter at the end of the URL something like &linkedView at the end of the URL to jump straight to the linked cards view?
Or &Release=<ReleaseName)> to go to a board…1 voteHi Sam,
We have added a feature recently where you right click on the card there is ‘Copy Card URL’ which copies the URL on the clipboard. When user access this URL through browser the board is open and the card is highlighted.
