Card configurability
We would like to configure the kanban board sticky card with our custom attributes.
37 votesAs per your suggestions we have introduced common custom fields in the product.Common custom fields will be available across all card types and all the boards. Hence you will be get the fields on the board cards as well.

Create a Card Template
It would be nice to have the ability to save a card template. I have projects that I need to go through my board every week and I would like to not have to re-imput on the information into a new card and re-set my "to-do-list' every week.
28 votesThere are two options available in SwiftKanban help with this -
1. “Clone a Card”
- You can create a card on the board with all information you’d like to have available each time a new card of that type is created – and keep it as a “template”.
- Each time you have to create an actual card to work on, select the “Options” menu on this template card – and select the “Clone card” option – and you will get all the details in the new card.More on this here – https://www.digite.com/knowledge-base/swiftkanban/article/work-with-cards-on-kanban-board-2/#clonecard
2. To-Do List Template
You can also go to the Board Editor and the “Configure” each card-type to set up a standard set of tasks (To-Dos) for each card type. Every time someone then creates a card on the board, you automatically get the set of To-Dos you defined for that card type.

Seriously, this is a tool I'll be using all day. And it's on my work computer, and there's not any incredibly sensitive data here. Why would you log me out automatically like a bank or something? What purpose does that serve?

Change card color based on card attribute
In order to improve the visualization flexibility offered by Swift Kanban, it should be possible to define what color a card should have based on the current value of one specific card attribute, e.g. class of service, priority, etc. The attribute should be defined for each project individually.
Background: many teams need only one card type (e.g. user story) and would like to use card colors to visualize a specific card attribute that wouldn't be clearly visible otherwise.
For example, a project using only user stories can classify each story as standard, fixed date, expedite, intangible, etc. and the project…

Support project-specific Lead Time and Cycle Time definitions
In order to make Lead Time and Cycle Time really useful for any given project, it should be possible for the project manager(s) to configure the board columns where the measurement should start and end.
This configuration should be made in the "Modify Process" area and NOT as something that can be configured when viewing the metric charts.

Can you change the order of what you see along the bottom of the card
Along the bottom of the card, you see Priority, Estimate, Rank, Cos, Size and Due date.
Can this be configurable?
I would like to see Priority, Size and Cos as the first 3.

allow me to do bulk changes
I'd like to change many cards at once. Let me filter a list and/or select multiple cards and do some common things like change the owner, set the priority, move to done, add a comment, etc.

Create animation of cards moving across the board
Kanban is all about flow. It would be great if you captured the board everytime a card was moved on the board and used this to create a visual animation with a timeline to show this flow

Add Collapsible Columns / Lanes
this would help with longer workflows and allow me to have a Backlog column on the far left. A little "twisty" icon would expand and collapse the columns as desired.

Thanks for your suggestion. This has been implemented – and now you can collapse both columns and lanes that you don’t want to see. The collased lanes/ columns will just show you the name and the number of cards they contain.

Allow people to be associated to projects when user is being created.
Enable an invite to board like feature in the create user page so that when the user is created, it automatically adds them to the chosen project boards

have an empty value for story size
Not all cards are sized. However you must give all cards a size on the swiftkanban board.

Make Reports More User Friendly when Exported to Excel
Currently time spent in columns are strings rather than numbers so making calculations in an excel spreadsheet after exporting the reports is not possible. It would be a nice feature along with possibly making the reports as pivot tables rather than plain spreadsheets.

We have improved on the report export now and the output of the report now throws numbers that can easily be grouped in a pivot.

Change dates of cards
It would be nice if we could change the date a card entered the system or a specific lane. Sometimes cards are not created on the day the work started and this is problematic for the metrics.

This feature is now available in SwiftKanban. You can change the ‘Date Identified’ field using excel import and set a past date that should get considered for Lead time computation.

Notification that includes the actual comment
At the very least it would nice if the notification digest included the actual comment rather than just saying "Added a new comment on XXX".
But it would be really great if an email was generated for that specific comment and sent to the mentioned team mate and if they reply to the email it updates the card and also emails the team-mate that left the original comment and so on with the whole conversation...

Provide metrics for average time spent on each board lane
The following chart would be very helpful for identifying improvement "hotspots" along the workflow:
For a given time window (specified by the user), create a distribution chart showing the average time (Y axis = average time) spent on each workflow lane (X axis = lane name) by all relevant cards.
"Relevant cards" can be either only cards already archived that entered and left all/some workflow lanes during the chosen time window or all cards (archived or not) that entered and left all/some workflow lanes during the chosen time window.
If a card entered and left the same lane several times…

Work Completion Gantt
Possible to get a Gantt kind of view to show the card progress? the current views do not give a consolidated picture of various card status...even though you could filter in list view, hard to go through each and track.
9 votesWe have provide a ‘% complete’ field on the card which indicates the Todo % complete.This will suffice your need as it will show % progress for each card in progress bar.
