Thanks for your feedback.
Do you see this as any issue in giving the ‘Member’ role to such stakeholders? If they can add cards to backlog, they might as well want to add it on the board for expediting the requests. But they’ll not be able to delete any.
We’ll surely think over it and see if it’s a generic request for other users as well.

It is surely possible to give the 'Member' role to stakeholders. But if you want to clearly separate 'project members' (people responsible for getting things done) from 'project stakeholders' (people responsible for specifying what shall be done), the proposed solution can only be seen as a workaround.
I also believe it is not always a good idea to allow stakeholders to add cards to the board. Some stakeholders believe that only their wishes are important and would expedite them, creating additional work for the 'Manager' role.
Nevertheless, from the three suggestions made by me in the past, this one has in my eyes the lowest priority. I would prefer to see you working on the other two suggestions I made...
