  1. Create a Bigscreen account

    It would be great to have a dedicated account for our big screen in the office. The login must persist and the board must just refresh showing the changes made by the team at their PCs in real time. It can have limited rights.

  2. Notification that includes the actual comment

    At the very least it would nice if the notification digest included the actual comment rather than just saying "Added a new comment on XXX".

    But it would be really great if an email was generated for that specific comment and sent to the mentioned team mate and if they reply to the email it updates the card and also emails the team-mate that left the original comment and so on with the whole conversation...

  3. Fix the paste bug from clipboard in the description of a card

    This suggestion is about editing or entering the description of a card:
    When pasting text from the clipboard, a number of problems often occur:
    1) Some existing text is removed.
    2) An underscore character is prepended to the pasted text.
    3) The (keyboard) cursor is located somewhere completely different from the paste location (usually at the first character of the description).

    N.B. I use Chrome. My colleagues have the same problem.

  4. Change color of due date based on days left

    It would be helpful to color the due date yellow or red based on time left to accomplish the cards tasks.

  5. Visual indication for critical cards in the two smaller card sizes

    Crete a vistual indication for critial cards in the two smaller card sizes, just as you made to the blocked cards. Maybe it could be a little red star.

  6. Allow drag and drop to prioritize cards on the backlog board

    I would like to be able to prioritize cards on the backlog board, using drag and drop.
    This is a much more fine grained prioritization than using high/medium/low.

  7. Change card color based on card attribute

    In order to improve the visualization flexibility offered by Swift Kanban, it should be possible to define what color a card should have based on the current value of one specific card attribute, e.g. class of service, priority, etc. The attribute should be defined for each project individually.

    Background: many teams need only one card type (e.g. user story) and would like to use card colors to visualize a specific card attribute that wouldn't be clearly visible otherwise.

    For example, a project using only user stories can classify each story as standard, fixed date, expedite, intangible, etc. and the project…

  8. Support for multiple sub lanes on the same level on a board (horizontally/vertically)

    When desgning a board it would be good if it would be possible to add multiple horizontal/vertical lanes on the same level.
    Example: If you make a horizontal split of a lane (i.e. level 1) you get two new sub lanes at level 2, but then you can’t add any more horizontal sub lanes at level 2 (max is two). The Horizontal/Vertical Split is not available at level 1 anymore. Adding this feature would result in the creation of more complex board (both horizontally and vertically at all levels).

  9. Personal WIP limits on board

    It would be good to not only limit WIP in lanes, but also to limit WIP on an individual basis (per person) and also use proper notifications when the limit is exceeded (plus also provide a chart/report or so with information about when limits have been exceeded).

    This feature has been added in SwiftKanban. The ‘Backlog’ list view now has the ‘Current Owner’ field. Hope this should help you to use SwiftKanban better.

  11. force compulsory fields

    The compulsory fields are not enforced unless one is in the Detailed Card screen. Can one not choose what fields (particularly custom created compulsory fields) are displayed in the Create and Modify Card dialogue boxes and enforcing completion from there?

  12. Mobile Site Revamp + Reoccurring Cards

    First I just wanted to say that the mobile site on a smart phone needs some work in my opinion. I can't seem to find a way to add a new card from it, if it's even possible.

    For my work flow, I have the same project or "card" every week that needs to cycle through my kanban board. It would be awesome if there was an option for reoccurring cards rather than having to create a new one every week.

  13. Admin feature to notify users of scheduled outage/work

    As an Admin, I'd like to see a Kanban feature where I can click a notification to send a note to all my "People" users to notify them of something that would affect all users, for instance a system outage for our internal maintenance or changes to boards. This saves the admin the trouble of creating an internal email to all users one by one, or group by group...which is time consuming. A feature within the system would be better.

  14. Notification alerts via emails

    When any comment is added by any team member on a card, then there should be an option for the Manager to configure that all team members will receive an email notification upon any comment added/card status changes.

  15. Notifications for comments and attachments on cards

    If would be nice if there was some kind of icon that would show up on a card to notify me when a comment or attachment has been made on that card.

  16. add ability to mark all notifications as read

    Sometimes I can scan notifications and "read" them without clicking on them. It appears the only way to clear them now is by clicking on them individually.

  17. show current owner on ALL CARDS list

    The Excel export is a bit more robust than we need for our Weekly meeting. I have been using the ALL CARDS list, but it would be great to see the current card owner on the list.

  18. add ability to delete and/or edit comments

    It would be great if we could edit and/or delete comments we have posted on a card. Admins should probably be able to delete any comments they want.

  19. For multiple card owners do not change agent when moving cards

    If I have a card assigned to more than one person then the card should not change the assignation when it is moved. The only exception should be if the person who moved it isn't part of the team currently assigned.

    Thanks for your feedback. We have implemented a new policy that governs the auto-assignment of card on pull.

    This feature is now live on the servers and hope it’ll be useful.

  20. Blocker text should be possible to update

    Blocker text cannot be updated today. This is something that is really bad because you have to unblock and block again if you forgot to add something in the original text.
