  1. don't end my session.

    Seriously, this is a tool I'll be using all day. And it's on my work computer, and there's not any incredibly sensitive data here. Why would you log me out automatically like a bank or something? What purpose does that serve?

  3. Display age of a card in column and have its visible attribute change if waiting longer than task's estimate

    Ability to see the age of a card in a lane and have its color or some visible attribute change if it is sitting longer than the estimated time for the step or some visible flag to attract attention. Currently, when there are a large number of cards on the board it is difficult to find the ones that have been sitting for too long.

  4. Allow filtering by project name just as it does by card type to see all cards for a project.

    Allow filtering by project name just as the system allows filtering by card type so that one can see all cards for a project. We have several projects, each with several cards, and this will help their project managers, who are only interested in the cards for their respective projects. It helps remove clutter. This is different from searching for a card because search will only show you one card at a time and doesn't filter out the rest from the board.

  5. Can you change the order of what you see along the bottom of the card

    Along the bottom of the card, you see Priority, Estimate, Rank, Cos, Size and Due date.
    Can this be configurable?
    I would like to see Priority, Size and Cos as the first 3.

  6. have an empty value for story size

    Not all cards are sized. However you must give all cards a size on the swiftkanban board.
    The option of an empty/blank value in the size dropdown would be great, Thanks.

  7. Create animation of cards moving across the board

    Kanban is all about flow. It would be great if you captured the board everytime a card was moved on the board and used this to create a visual animation with a timeline to show this flow

  8. Allow people to be associated to projects when user is being created.

    Enable an invite to board like feature in the create user page so that when the user is created, it automatically adds them to the chosen project boards

  9. Make Reports More User Friendly when Exported to Excel

    Currently time spent in columns are strings rather than numbers so making calculations in an excel spreadsheet after exporting the reports is not possible. It would be a nice feature along with possibly making the reports as pivot tables rather than plain spreadsheets.

  10. Make editting easier

    Instead of double clicking a row cell every time a field needs to be changed. It would be nice to have a "Edit" link somewhere on the page along the blue bar that enables everything on the page to be editable. This is very important when making mass changes...

  11. User Groups

    Having the ability to group users together. Metrics should be calculated as multiple owners, where everyone in the group becomes a card owner. Furthering this feature should include notifications for card blocks only being sent to all the groups that the individual that blocked the card is a part of.

  12. support undo / control-z especially in the new card dialog

    I sure do wish ctrl-z / undo worked in the new card dialog.

  13. Include comments in card export

    I need the ability to export to excel and sort by various card fields and then read the comments for that card or at least the latest comment. Unless there is another way to quickly scroll through all comments within the UI. Doing it one card (and several clicks) at a time is not scalable.

  14. Provide a scalable view of the board to see the whole thing

    One of the most significant values of a physical kanban board is as an "information radiator" - the ability to grasp at a glance all tasks and their position on the board. The inability to scale the board in order to see the whole board on the screen is a near showstopper as I evaluate this product. The collapse function isn't adequate when there are a large number of cards on a board.

    I recommend a scaling feature similar to what is available in MS Project Gantt charts, or any other Office app (this may be what was intended by…

  16. Be able to copy lanes in Admin

    When designing a board, it might be nice to be able to copy lanes within a board that have a repeated structure. Even better might be the capability to copy the same structure from one board to another.

  17. Change dates of cards

    It would be nice if we could change the date a card entered the system or a specific lane. Sometimes cards are not created on the day the work started and this is problematic for the metrics.

    Hi RIk,

    This feature is now available in SwiftKanban. You can change the ‘Date Identified’ field using excel import and set a past date that should get considered for Lead time computation.

  18. fix a Bug. Not possible to enter card title on cyrillic in backlog section

    But it is ok to rename it later with non-latin symbols on kanban board

  19. Should be able to order Backlog cards by priority - currently orders Alphabetically

    If I order the backlog by priority, the cards appear in alphabetical priority order (Critical, High, Low, Medium). Firefox 6.0.2

    If you click on the ‘Priority’ column label, you should be able to sort the backlog by priority. Please try it out and let us know if you face any further issues.

  20. allow me to do bulk changes

    I'd like to change many cards at once. Let me filter a list and/or select multiple cards and do some common things like change the owner, set the priority, move to done, add a comment, etc.
