Release Planning with linked cards
It would be nice if when release planning I could move an epic card into a specified release and all of the linked child cards also move into that release without me having to move them individually.

Enable export a task for another project
IIn the management of more than one project may be a need to export a task for another project in the event that projects are similar or related. Quickly move or copy the task.

Display the current owner's name on card prominently to drive ownership and right behavior
We have currently well over 100 users & growing spread across 3 venues in USA using this application. We may not know all of them by face but know most by name having exchanged emails etc. Currently, the system does not allow names to be displayed prominently. The space for a photo icon gets abused as some tend to use it with different images (cartoon, car etc). From a visual management perspective, if the current owner's name is prominently displayed, it will drive a sense of ownership and right behavior. Subscribe to specific notifications
I would like to select specific notifications that I want to subscribe to, i.e. when a WIP limit is exceeded.

Don't allow archive without viewing incomplete tasks.
When moving cards from one lane to another, any incomplete tasks pop up to be addressed, however if you archive a card, there is no visibility that you have incomplete tasks.

allow selection of a floating end date for analytics
Currently selecting start and end dates for analytics locks in the dates and must be updated on subsequent dates. It would be beneficial to be able to select floating dates, such as end on current date, or show past X days/weeks/months.

Make auto-scrolling an option
Today when I move a card to another lane via the drop-down menu, the window horizontally scrolls so that the new lane is visible.
I almost always want to stay where I am because I am processing a given lane's cards and moving them as appropriate.
This same auto-scrolling behavior takes place when I clean up some card type assignments. What I actually do is:
- Filter by card type
- Convert a given card to another card type
- The window auto-scrolls and I lose my place.The current behavior is very user-hostile in my opinion.

Ability to change view or add a scroll bar when looking at child card hierachy
Today, when you look at the child hierarchy for a card and the parent card has at least 10 child cards, there is no scroll bar to move up and down on the screen to view all the child cards. You have to try to drag the cards up or down to see them.

provide ability to format text in comments
I would love some basic text formatting in the comments—bold, italic, lists, etc.

add a "my role" column to the screen: "my boards"
In the "My Boards" screen the system displays a list of all the boards that I have access to, with a lot of columns. But I believe a column that's more important is that I need to see what's my role with each of these boards: manager, member, or reader.

Quick task list display
It would be nice to quickly see if there are tasks on a card without opening the actual card or task list (i.e. If hovering over the task icon the list would get displayed).

display attachments as thumbnails
Most of our projects are graphics. It would be great if the attachments showed as thumbnails rather than a text list. And a larger preview opened in a lightbox or new window rather than downloading.

provide an option to filter the activity log of a card
usually i search the activity log for certain actions so it would be helpful if there is an option to filter the log

The blocked time field in the Reports is not calculated properly per action
In case a card is blocked, the blocked time field in the report will be the same for all records of this lane even if certain actions are done while the card is active.
So there is no way to tell how much time the user action was blocked.1 vote -
Option to create image or video card to communicate
There should be an option to create a image or video card so instead of going on in the attachment section .User can double click on the card and view the image or video in popup.

Internet Explorer 11 compatibility mode
I had to put IE in compatibility mode to get your user interface to work properly. I highly recommend that you visit the modern.ie website for tips on how to better support modern version of IE. It's pretty discouraging to try a new product and have to revert your browser back to older standards.

Be able to change smart swim lanes even with cards on the board
The Smart swim lanes are great but the restriction of setting up the board before any work is flowing is a major problem.

Yes, we do plan to remove some of the restrictions that we implemented initially, to ensure metrics are not completely thrown off track. The first change would be to allow switching from Smartlane by attribute to custom Smart lanes that we’ll release in next few weeks.
The restrictions that’ll remain would be when you have different value-stream for each SmartLane. For e.g. If you have defined Smart-lanes based on Card types, each having a different value stream and then you switch to Smart-lane by priority, it’s hard to fathom which lane the existing card should go
We would love to discuss this with you in detail over email and see if you have suggestions/ ideas around it.

get rid of dashboard.
I don't see what value this feature adds. I think it serves to confuse new users looking for their boards. I frequently get questions from people saying that their board is blank. I have even had someone attempt to make a kanban board on the dashboard. I have not figured out how this is supposed to be useful.

change name of Projects to Kanban Board or Projects/Boards
When people begin using SwiftKanban, they cannot find their boards since they are labeled as projects. Changing the labeling would make using the tool more intuitive.

Full support for Swedish letters
As a Swiftkanban user I want to be able to send comments to coworkers having Å Ä or Ö in their names so that they can receive notifications.
Example: trying to insert @Anders Öberg in a comment will make the comment to fail.
