    Hi Marc,

This feature has been added in SwiftKanban. The ‘Backlog’ list view now has the ‘Current Owner’ field. Hope this should help you to use SwiftKanban better.

Appreciate your taking time to provide us your valuable inputs.

    Thanks,
    SwiftKanban Team

  2. How to update existing cards not clearly explained in the Help

I discovered that the import uses the GUID field in the import file to find existing cards. I did not see this information in the Help file (I was trying to use Title, Id in the Excel file or Unique ID from the card properties to figure out what the tool was matching on).

So I had to first export the cards I wanted to update, then make my changes to the export file (with the GUID column filled in) and import the updated export file. These steps are not clearly explained in the Help. Can you add this detail…

  3. attachment visual aid

it would be a good visual aid if we could see an indicator on the front of the card once an attachment has been added.

  4. Blocker text should be possible to update

Blocker text cannot be updated today. This is something that is really bad because you have to unblock and block again if you forgot to add something in the original text.

    Hi Anders,

We have recently added ‘Edit’ comment functionality, that now makes it possible to edit the blocker text.

Hope this should be useful to you and your team. Let us know if you have any further feedback/ suggestion on this feature.

    Thanks,
    Swift-Kanban Team

    Hi Jeffrey,

We have addressed this now and you should be able to see in on your next Login to Swift-Kanban.

Thanks for your feedback. We truly appreciate it. Let us know if you have any other feedback or suggestions on the product.

    Thanks,

  6. Make process policies explicit

A very important aspect of Kanban is how it helps improve communication. How about doing this:
    - The list of card types already includes a Description field. It could be used to write the policy of each card type (this is, of course up to the user so nothing for Swift to do here)
    - The Kanban Board page include a "Legend" menu item. What I suggest to be added there is that once it is clicked and the legends are shown to then be able to mouse-over to see the policies (show the content of the description field)
    -…

    Masa,

Thanks for the feedback. This feature is now available in the product and allows you to view the description/ policies entered against any card type, when you hover on the Legend view.

Let us know if you have any other suggestions.

    Thanks,
    Swift-Kanban Team

  8. Allow us to sort our cards by Rank

On the EHS Projects Kanban Board - Please allow us to sort our cards by Rank. I have about 20 cards under the Execution column and would like to be able to order the cards based on the ranking. This will allow me to not have to look through the list to find my top 6 cards I am working on.

  9. Enable Manual Card Arrangement - Easier Sorting

I would like to be able to sort cards on the fly. While managing a team, I often need to visually arrange tasks for multiple users in order of priority. I don't want to have to open each card and apply some kind of attribute. I'd like to just drag the cards around and easily order them as I need.

  10. URL Parameters for Deep Linking?

I have noticed there are some handy URL parameters that can be passed in to navigate to a specific card in SwiftKanban.

For example https://login.swiftkanban.com/pui/index.jsp#projectid=<PROJID>&itemid=<CARDID> will open the board and flash the selection indicator for the ItemID one passes in.

I’m wondering if there are any other URL parameters that could be used to start with a specific filter or card view?

For Example – pass in a parameter at the end of the URL something like &linkedView at the end of the URL to jump straight to the linked cards view?
    Or &Release=<ReleaseName)> to go to a board…

  12. Arrange/Sort Taks

I would like to manage the order of the tasks I create for each card. Also once create, I would like to have sortable columns to find tasks in an efficient manner

  13. add ability to delete and/or edit comments

It would be great if we could edit and/or delete comments we have posted on a card. Admins should probably be able to delete any comments they want.

    Hi Christopher,

This feature has now been enable in the product and hence we are marking this as done. This should also free up few votes so that you can provide other feedback.

Thanks for your feedback/ suggestions. We sincerely appreciate it.

  14. Fix links on main page to not 404: "What is Kanban", "How can I organise"

The top two links in the "Kanban Introduction" box go to 404 pages.

  15. Option Change "Priority" When Adding a new card

when the box appears after click add new card, should have a dropdown menu for the priority instead of going to the card list and having to click edit.

    Sachin,

Did you try double-clicking the card on the board itself? double-click enables the edit view on the board itself and let’s you change priority/ size etc.
please try it out and let us know if you still face any issue.
