  1. Board colours changed using a colour wheel

    The current layout of colours to choose from for the columns etc. is difficult to use as there is no logical order. Also, there is no way to add your own colours, such as with a colour wheel.
    Please change it so that you can choose colours using a colour wheel and with the colours arranged in an order that makes sense. It's driving me insane!

  2. Project Status Visual

    Would it be possible to add a visual band or dot to see the project status (R/Y/G) on every card at a glance?

  3. Functionality for cards in the Archive

    1. It would be great to be able to see card details in the archive
    2. Alternatively, It should be allowed to move cards back to the last column in a lane from the archive

    Hi Masa,

    1.Thanks for the feedback we added the feature request in backlog.

    2.For moving the cards from archive to last column we will request you to use the Add from Archive feature and move the card as required across board.

  4. CFD needs to show the entire board

    The CFD will only show one smart lane at a time. I would like to see all of the lanes at the same time and individually. My board has 36 smart lanes. I need to be able to see each smart lane separately and at the program level I need to see the cumulative status.

  6. Upload cards that are in progress or already done

    Hello,
    from one year I'm using an Excel in order to maintain all my activities. Now I'm switching to SwiftKanban, but I'm not able to import all my cards that are started or completed.

    If I've understood well, SwiftKanban is able to import cards that are not started yet, but it's not possible to import cards that are in progress or already done.

    Hi Gavino,

    You can import the existing in-progress cards on the board directly by using the export/import option.Please add new cards directly and select any column on the board reflecting the card’s current status.
    Please note all the analytics will reflected the time from the day the cards are imported only.

  7. ToDo List now showing tickets per person properly

    Hi. I have a board with several users. When any user logs in as themselves and go to the ToDo list they all see my cards but not theirs even after filtering to request their own name only.

  8. Analytics: Cycle Time - ColumnWise Average Chart can't display all columns on board at once

    I have a board with 4 swim lanes. If I select all of them to be displayed I can only see the first three. The fourth one cannot be access and the only way to get to it is by unselecting another one.
    I'm using a MacBook Air with Sierra. Behavior is same on Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

  9. TODO Tasks - allowing to add more details to the each TODO item

    TODO Tasks - allowing to add more details to the each TODO item.
    We would like to be able to use the TODO Tasks to log defects for cards currently being worked on instead of creating a separate Defect card and linking them to the card. This way we can keep our WIP limits lower as the TODO items wont affect the WIP limits and our board will not be cluttered with Defect Cards for items still in Development.

    Hi,

    Please can you elaborate more on the need as what more details are required on TODO for tracking .You also suggest you that we have TODO board to keep track of the TODO items separately for tracking and not affect the main Kanban board.

  10. Ability to change view or add a scroll bar when looking at child card hierachy

    Today, when you look at the child hierarchy for a card and the parent card has at least 10 child cards, there is no scroll bar to move up and down on the screen to view all the child cards. You have to try to drag the cards up or down to see them.

  11. Avoid referring to people as "Resources"

    The practice of referring to people as "resources" is something which I'm not quite keen on (https://dzone.com/articles/people-are-resilience-creators-not-resources).

    So it would be nice if we can have a different terminology within SwiftKanban UI in order to avoid promoting that practice.

  12. WIP limit per board per person - format and validation

    In order to simplify personal WIP limit per board configuration: it would be nice if the defaults displayed are only integers. Also - in case a value of invalid format is entered, fail fast with some kind of error indication.

    Currently the default WIP Value on the board Team Member configuration is 0.0 which suggests that fractional numbers are supported. That however doesn't seem to be true - it's not possible to save a fractional number now.
    When a fractional number is inserted - e.g. 0.3: initially it seems accepted (some server error message is received after 10+ seconds).

  13. Apply chosen date format in all date fields

    In Admin Policy it is possible to select a default date format. However for Custom (Date) Fields another format appears to be applied. These different formats complicate a quick compairison of (adjacent) columns with default dates and columns with custom dates.
    I suggest to apply a once chosen date-format to all used date fields.

  14. Add Due Date_Week

    In Analytics (Card Data Analyser) it is possible to select "Due Date", "Due DateMonth" or "Due DateYear.
    It would be useful to add "Due Date_Week" as selectable period of time.

  16. Provide option for a user to only be able to view certain lanes within a Board that they have access to

    We currently have an Operations Board that contains lanes for all our individual Clients which our internal DEV team access and use.
    We were wondering if view/access permissions could be set up to provide a Client with access to our Operations Board but only have visibility to their specific lane so that we do not need to create a separate Board for sharing the progress of their DEV work.

  17. TODO tasks as child cards

    In order to streamline the approach with working with hierarchical work items and to bring greater flexibility - it would be useful to unify the approaches in viewing and managing TODOs and Child cards.

    Background:

    Currently it's possible to organize hierarchical work items in two ways:
    a) As cards with TODO subtasks
    b) As cards with parent-child links

    • That may lead to some confusion (e.g. "which of both options should I choose?");
    • And difficulty (e.g. "I started with option (a) but now I see that option (b) is more appropriate").

    Some ideas:

  18. Read only access without using up licences

    We would like to share the project information sometimes with other stakeholders. To do this we would have to map them to one of the existing roles, but this eats into our available license pool. It would be nice if we could allow temporary read-only access for some users at a project level (probably using their email address as a logon).

  19. Automatically move child card to Release & Sprint

    Business Problem:
    Identifying and moving every child card of an EPIC to Release/Sprint when the EPIC is already planned for a specific Release/Sprint.

    Use Case:
    1> An epic EPIC1, EPIC2, EPIC3 is created and planned for a Release ABC & Sprint PQR
    2> We start creating child cards UST1, UST2, UST3 under EPIC1. Similarly we add more userstories to EPIC2 and EPIC3
    3> After brainstorming we have added 10 Userstories to each EPIC. 4> Now we have Total 30 Userstories to be moved in Sprint PQR

    These Userstories should be automatically moved to Release ABC and Sprint PQR automatically as…

  20. allow 'custom Id' on cards

    The default id's based on 'type of the card + number' (card1, card2. card3...) are not 'self-explained', it's very difficult to associate this Id to the task, that might be better represent by a tag or acronym.
    I suggest that we could use customized id's, specially on the 2nd level of the kanban board and on the Board PlayBack view.
