Concept of parent-child and other links
Why can't a child have more than one parent? What is the use of "other links"? I can't see on a card, that it has "other" links, right?
1 voteHi Mathias,
Other link option to be used to create relationship between 2 cards where there no hierarchy involved. An example of this when you ‘Clone’ card where you create a clone of current card and maintain relationship between both cards or even duplicate cards.

For multiple card owners do not change agent when moving cards
If I have a card assigned to more than one person then the card should not change the assignation when it is moved. The only exception should be if the person who moved it isn't part of the team currently assigned.
1 voteHi Masa,
Thanks for your feedback. We have implemented a new policy that governs the auto-assignment of card on pull.
This feature is now live on the servers and hope it’ll be useful.
Let us know if you have any feedback/ suggestion on this or any more ideas/ suggestions.

Possiblity of displaying custom field(s) on the card?
Hello,
I added a new card type "Goal" to my account. I would love to see the new added field "Year" on the card when displayed on the Kanban board and not just solely in the list view.
Is that possible?
I also couldn't change the position (13) in the list view after saving the card even though I added it on the 4th position of the list. Can I manually change the list position?
Thanks,
Mathias1 voteHi Mathias,
For changing the list position go the Admin→Setting→I form Editor>Select you card type→List view>Click on List position>Change the position and Save the changes.
Displaying customer field is also requested by other users and it is already added in our backlog

Enable Esc and Return keyboard shortcuts for popup menues
It would be nice to enable closing the Modify Card dialog box and the Tasks dialog box with just the Esc button (or Return).

add ability to mark all notifications as read
Sometimes I can scan notifications and "read" them without clicking on them. It appears the only way to clear them now is by clicking on them individually.

Allow new lane types to be created
We'd like to add a new lane type called "Waiting" but see no way to do that in the current interface

to not remove the CRLF from the blocked card reasons.
When someone reads the block card reason in the tool-tip or in the activity log the CRLF are removed. So some of the formatting is lost.
1 voteHi Jo,
This is resolved now you will be able to read multiple lines in blocking comments

To Do terminology is inconsistent
In some places the To-Do list is called something different. On the card, when I hover over the To-Do list tool, it is called Tasks. When I click on that tool it takes me to the To-Do tab of the card. When I hover over the Add tool, it says Add To-Do. It should be referred to as To-Do everywhere.
1 voteHi Elisia,
We have updated the hover in the latest release.

Support for multiple sub lanes on the same level on a board (horizontally/vertically)
When desgning a board it would be good if it would be possible to add multiple horizontal/vertical lanes on the same level.
Example: If you make a horizontal split of a lane (i.e. level 1) you get two new sub lanes at level 2, but then you can’t add any more horizontal sub lanes at level 2 (max is two). The Horizontal/Vertical Split is not available at level 1 anymore. Adding this feature would result in the creation of more complex board (both horizontally and vertically at all levels).1 vote -
Include comments in card export
I need the ability to export to excel and sort by various card fields and then read the comments for that card or at least the latest comment. Unless there is another way to quickly scroll through all comments within the UI. Doing it one card (and several clicks) at a time is not scalable.

Personal WIP limits on board
It would be good to not only limit WIP in lanes, but also to limit WIP on an individual basis (per person) and also use proper notifications when the limit is exceeded (plus also provide a chart/report or so with information about when limits have been exceeded).
1 voteHi Anders,
Please check there is a user WIP feature at board. Please check the below help link for details:

Complete the Smartlane functionality
Add the ability to provide WIP limits when creating Smartlanes based on Card Attributes. For example if creating Smartlanes based on Class of Service - provide the ability to add WIP limits to each of the 4 CoS categories. Otherwise the work-around is awkward - since we'd have to create our own custom CoS field.
1 voteHi Carl,
As we responded over email, the ability to define WIP limits for each Smart Lane( based on Class of Service or other attribute) is already available. Hope you were able to use it.
Let us know if you have any other suggestions.

Hover text for cards on Kanban board
Add text balloon on hover that contains the information about tasks and comments about a card. This would save some clicks when checking the tasks associated with a card.
Although the same thing is being done with card flips, it gets tedious clicking on card repeatedly1 vote -

Add the ability to import a backlog
As a new user coming into the beta, I have an existing backlog in Excel, and having to retype all my user stories is a pain in the butt.
1 voteWe have added this feature now, in the Swift-Kanban GA release.
You can now import your backlog using the familiar interface of excel-sheets and pull the imported cards on the Kanban board.
Please do try it out and provide us your valuable feedback. -
force compulsory fields
The compulsory fields are not enforced unless one is in the Detailed Card screen. Can one not choose what fields (particularly custom created compulsory fields) are displayed in the Create and Modify Card dialogue boxes and enforcing completion from there?
