1. Analytics improvements: Flow Efficiency header

   It will be extremelhy helpful to add on the header: Time Period, Lane, Start Column and End Column. Doing so reduces the need to look at the filter details. For example, instead of just reading "Flow Efficiency" it could read "Flow Efficiency | Daily | Lane: UK Customers | From: Ready | To: Done"

3. Lane description format is lost after saving

   For a smart lane description (this may also happen with regular lanes). Type a description with a format such as the one bellow:

   Once saving that description the format shows correctly when doing mouse-over. However if I were to go back to edit the description the format is lost.

4. #noEstimates Kanban

   In classical project management, you guess when features will be complete, promise the delivery date to the customer, and now that your scope and schedule are fixed, whip up the team to get the work done on schedule. As reality hits you in the face, you constantly shuffle features, or split features, to project a plan that you can meet. The constant re-planning is “waste” and the changing plan is disruptive.

   In my favorite kind of Kanban, the teams work the backlog in priority order and use Lean and Agile techniques to push up their productivity. Strategic leadership is implemented by ordering the backlog. Expectation are set by projecting based on backlog position and throughput. (backlog position / stories/week = weeks to delivery) No one has to guess anything! Story size averages out, but creating more consistent stories improves projection accuracy.

   I envision a feature to support it looking like this:

   1.   Define you r release schedule:
      

      • Continuous releases
      • Regular release intervals
      • A list of release dates.

   2.   Track the throughput as work is done
      

      • Prime it with a guess for new teams.
      • Have a way to compensate for holidays and vacations
      • Have a way to compensate for team changes

   3.   Present a Gantt chart of where the features are projected into releases. (or add and attribute to each story with a projected deliver date)
      

      • Adjust for dependencies
      • Show when the expected delivery date is not met.
      • Calculate buffers based on historic variation???

   4.   Make It really easy to adjust the backlog order and see the revised Gantt chart. (or attributes)
      

      • Protect work already in progress, but allow it to be pushed back into the backlog, if necessary

6. More ways to update card position and assignee

   There are many places to view card details, but few places to update the most important attributes -- Assignee, Position, and Title:

   Linked cards diagram view
   Bulk edit view (in linked cards diagram)
   Linked cards tabular view (card > hierarchy > detail view in kanban board)
   Card > all cards (or card types) tabular view

   Please allow me to update at least the card position(board/lane/column), assignee, and subject line.

   Without this, I have to click around, hunt around boards/backlogs, search by card ID, etc., for every member of a specific hierarchy.

7. Would like search results to honor the filter they are ran under

   I am an individual contributor and I always have my board set to filter to only me.

   When I search I am interested in searching only my cards. Now when I search for "AIX" I get 20 cards in the result. It is hard to tell which ones are mine.

   Is there a way to do this today? If not maybe this would be worthwhile.

9. on the To-do screen make it auto-size the "name" column.

   I sometimes try to add status, metadata, next steps in the Name column so I can keep context.

   Or else add a "notes" field for the To-Dos. Maybe that holds 2000 characters. I would like that too.

11. Improve Support Response

    As a company that provides a tool to help businesses with the through put or flow of their work, your response times to support inquiries creates a bottleneck in workflow. It's ironic this is the case considering the product you offer. If one has to pay for support, that should be made clear. You should provide a chat feature for support if customers can't call. I would rather call than chat. I would rather chat than wait 2-3 days for a response. If there's a price for that please advise. I need help setting things up like I need them to work to see if your system will work for my business. I used your system about 2-3 yrs ago and didn't get very far then because the support was lacking. It seems that things have not changed much in that respect. Create a Youtube channel of how to videos.

17. add a "my role" column to the screen: "my boards"

    In the "My Boards" screen the system displays a list of all the boards that I have access to, with a lot of columns. But I believe a column that's more important is that I need to see what's my role with each of these boards: manager, member, or reader.

18. When I move a card to another lane, don't automatically scroll to the new lane

    This should be a setting in Preferences probably. I have a large board, and so when I move a card from one lane to another, the best way for me to do that is to use the drop-down Move menu on the card. This works great...UNTIL my view of the board scrolls over to the lane where I just moved the card.

    So then I have to scroll back to where I was working and reorient myself to my next card (because not only did my view of the board scroll on me, but all the remaining cards in the lane have been reflowed as well, so basically I have completely lost my place).

    This should be a setting in Preferences probably.
